Bird-Lore was a bi-monthly magazine first published in 1899. The magazine was originally edited by Frank M. Chapman and published by Macmillan. Bird-Lore, The "Official Organ of the Audubon Societies", became the Audubom Magazine in 1941 and in the 1960's this title was shortened to Audubon.

Louis Agassiz Fuertes contributed articles and illustrations to Bird Lore between 1904 and 1923.
